One of a kind, wearable art

Each ceramic component is sculpted, carved, and hand-pierced by the artist using various sculpture (white) and terracotta clays. 

Pieces are then stained and glazed for firing, and incorporated into original designs, which are tailored to complement the contours of the body.

Designs are inspired to not only make a striking statement when worn, but many also offer thoughtful solutions for styling—whether it’s defining the waist with a body piece or adding interest to a bare arm or shoulder. 

Each ceramic element in Wearable Ceramic jewelry is a singular creation, shaped not only by hand, but by the quiet alchemy of the kiln. 

Within that fiery chamber, glazes rich with non-toxic minerals awaken into luminous, unpredictable patterns. These surfaces shift and bloom depending on the size of the piece, the time it lingers in heat before reaching its final temperature, and even the presence of other glazes firing beside it.

No two pieces emerge exactly the same. Some may echo each other closely, while others are entirely unrepeatable. These mysterious expressions of the kiln’s magic are captured forever in ceramic form.

 The non-ceramic beads in this collection are thoughtfully chosen for both their comfort and ethical origins. 

Metal accents are fair trade, with most handcrafted in Ethiopia using traditional techniques. Depending on the type of metal, some pieces may naturally develop a beautiful patina over time, while others remain unchanged even after years of wear. 

A variety of semi-precious stones also grace many designs, offering natural beauty and subtle variation. 

Glass seed beads add delicate texture and a touch of shimmer, completing the balance of materials in every piece.
